Exclusive Comic created for the 2008 San Diego Comic Con by the late Michael Turner
This is pretty cool . . .
This comic includes 4 stories that reveal more about the Heroes Universe. The stories focus on the back stories of Mohinder Suresh, Echo De Mille (the main character of the new Heroes webisode series), and Adam Monroe (Takezo Kensei).
Universal is teaming up with Sprint for the “Create Your Hero” contest.
Last Fall, fans of Heroes created two new heroes. But only one will star in a new online live action series. YOU CAN VOTE TO DECIDE WHICH ONE !
That is a lot of power for people like you. Use it wisely.
In the early 80s HBO had a logo “bumper” that they used to play before movies.
In the early 80s the company that designed it made a documentary on how it was created.
In the early 2000s, somebody put it on Youtube.
It is over 10 minutes long. 10 long minutes.
Wow. That sure was amazing how they did that HBO logo effect. Yep.
You know I once saw a documentary on how they perfected the T1000 effects for Terminator 2. Like how he was able to reflect the other actors like a mirror and shift shapes and walk through steel bars. Yeah THAT was interesting. I don’t think it was even a second over 6 minutes though.
But since we’re discussing the subject . . . doesn’t the whole idea of making a movie about what happens when all the videos in a rental store get erased seem kinda . . . dated.
When did YOU last rent a VIDEO?
The Blockbuster in my neighborhood has about 30 videos left all the rest is DVD or Blu Ray or HD Coasters.
Check out the evidence that JACK BLACK is a HACK.
Amanda Rocks. (ahem)
UPDATE ! Boo Hiss. Warner Brothers has stomped on the video. That’s hurtful. Just for that I’m gonna wait an extra day to buy this thing. Well if you were lucky enough to see it early, you know how cool it was. If not, then just take my word for it. It was cool.
This is a sneak peak of the brand new Batman Gotham Dark Knight Straight to DVD release (I hope they release it on Blu ray !)
It is supposed to bridge the gap between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Sorta like Animatrix, but with less “Suck”.
Actually the Animatrix was cool. The Matrix Sequels that followed it Sucked. But enough about that.
The interview footage seems to be the same stuff from the Batman DVD Box Set extras, but all the animation is new and headed to us soon . . .
So after the initial movie is released in theatres on August 15th, there is going to be a regular TV show on Cartoon Network in this style every week.
Not sure how I feel about the art style here – looks very “art school”. I really liked the style of the Clone Wars Cartoon they already produced, but it’s Star Wars so I’ll play along.
I sat through all 3 of the prequels several times already so what do I really have left to lose at this point?
Am I gonna have to buy A N O T H E R freakin’ Boba Fett action figure now?
So there is a new Star Wars Animated Movie completed?
And it’s going to be released in Europe first and then in theaters in the USA on August 15th (although once they release it in Europe it will be on the internets in about as long as it takes to finish the first screening . . . ) ?
And it actually looks kinda cool?
And I knew N O T H I N G about it until I accidently ran into the trailer for it on the officialStar Wars website. (Don’t judge me)
This is an outrage!
I am going to have to quit my job and leave my family if they are going to distract me from important news like this.
I need to re-evaluate everything now. How could I be so un-aware?
