I stole this from Gawker because it made me laugh.
In my experience there are days when you make poor choices and then there are days when the choices you make defy all manner of logic and good sense. Watching the Human Centipede (First Sequence) yesterday on a day I was battling a bad flu-like bug was the latter without question.
Just very poor judgement on my part.
If you are ever in need of something to make you drop your jaw and scream WTF at the top of your lungs; this is the flick for you.
Currently available in small independent theatres and on demand from IFC, Human Centipede (First Sequence) lulls you into a false sense of security by giving you what you know. Two pretty Americans travelling through Europe on vacation, car trouble, a dark and stormy night … a deranged German surgeon intent on creating a Human Centipede… wait – what now?
Sick, twisted, and ultimately stupid this movie is a pass unless you are looking for help starting a bout with Bullemia.
The dude who plays the mad scientist is effective in a 1930′s Universal Monster movie kind of way I guess but really there is no redeeming social message or warning here except to stay the F out of Germany and I was already doing THAT.
